Dear Coaches,
Wow! That’s my impression of how our mini-conference went on May 11, in the beautiful venue of Jasper Winery. Plentiful learning, great food, incredible networking – we had it all. Kudos to everyone who worked hard to make it a success, including all who attended! I am convinced that through these types of opportunities, more friendships are forged and our community and collaborations can grow in quality and quantity. Look for more opportunities to gather and grow in the future and, of course, we are open to your suggestions! Let me know your ideas and needs through my email. Just click on my name in the Board listing to the right.
Due to “life happens” commitments, we are doing a bit of shifting around in our board. We give special thanks to Jean Vaux, from Cedar Falls, who has steered the newsletter for the past six years. She is passing the mantle to the capable Carrie Copley from Ames. Carol Akey has requested to step down from the Membership role and we are looking to fill her shining shoes. Please contact me for more information if you’d like to be a part of our dynamic group and help us reach out to new and existing members. I’d like to also give a shout out to Julie Staub for stepping up our website and Facebook presence and our marketing processes in general. On our website, www.icfiowa.org, you can now see the growing lineup of programs arranged by Michelle Rembert, our Education Director. Thanks Michelle!
With International Coaching Week (May 15-21) wrapping up, here’s the latest news from ICF Global:
